What’s the story?

Micro Midori was developed by Jack Robinson, a freelance graphic designer and houseplant hobbyist.

 

Amongst the struggles of the Covid-19 pandemic, workflow in the freelance graphics industry became stagnant, grocery store inventories were scarce, and healthy food options became more and more difficult to find. This was an opportunity to solve some of our current problems and help benefit the future of our community.

With a brief background of personal homegrown herbs, veggies, and healthy food solutions, Micro Midori was developed as a service to local restaurants and homes with the mission to provide quick and affordable fresh superfoods. Microgreens are some of the most nutritious foods on the planet, packed with essential vitamins. They hold up to 40 times higher levels of vital nutrients than their mature counterparts. It seemed like a no-brainer to commit to bringing this service to life, and microgreens to your kitchen.

We grow hydroponically using organic plant food to assure the happiest, healthiest and nutrition-packed greens. Our grow room is a sterile, controlled environment with energy efficient lighting, 24-hour HEPA filtration for clean and fresh air, and virtually no waste. We source our seeds from the top trusted providers in the country and are completely organic and GMO free.
